- Take a flight to Athens and then a ferry from the port of Rafina (15 km from the airport). The crossing takes 2 hours. During the off-season, there may not be a direct ferry. In that case, you will need to take an initial ferry to Tinos and then a second ferry to Syros.
- Take a flight to Mykonos, and then a ferry from the port of Mykonos to Syros.
